Oprah is making another TV movie for ABC. This time it's Toni Morrison's 'Paradise'. I have not read the book, but you know the drill...Go grab a copy. I hope this would be a better read than 'Their eyes were watching God', that one was really hard to read, in fact I never finished it. And the movie was just 'blah'. I hope this time she would use another actress, as in I'm tired of Halle Berry. Oh perhaps she'll use Kimberly Elise, she's pretty good...or the lady who played Ray's wife in Ray, saw her on a Showtime series as I was surfing channels and she was pretty good. Anyways I'll try to read Paradise before the summer runs out, if I can find time. I am already supposed to read Midnight Assassin by Tom Wolf and Patricia Bryan, the later is a UNC Law professor and I am supposed to be writing a feature article for the CH Herald (did you really think I'ld be reading a murder mystery for leisure?)
You guys should also go read Paradise and holla back, I'll write something up on it once I am done.
