as far as the economic news is concerned, it is SUCH old news. so you know i'm writing my thesis right, and nigeria's political history is just one giant repetitive cycle, it's unbelievable. since 1970, these people have been talking about agricultural sector development, and since 1970, they have been excited about the "progress" they are making. bullocks!

anyway, i yanned des your message and she said she'll call you soon, not to worry. hope you're doing good!

Great post Addy.....i could have sworn i was listening to the evening news....lol...quite impressive.

Okay now to the nitty-gritty, i can't believe Abike Dabiri is actually claiming some politicians were planning on abducting her....okay maybe i am a little stale on current events in naija, but seriously...is she that important???? From what i remember, she was a regular freaking news anchor back in days before she "wuru wuru-ed" her way to the house of representatives...now i'm not sure if her opponet was the behind the plot to have her abducted but i do know one thing....no one is losing sleep about her race for a second term...so Abike darling, please stop all that drama...you are so not that important.

Now on the Chris Uba "situation"...all i can do is laugh...can't believe his brother had him arrested...kai!!! Politics is a b#%#h....lol....i'm rest assured there is more drama to come from that end.

Abike is a strong woman who is and will continue to rise in the ranks. I pray that her detractors will be put to shame.

God bless Nigeria

Your write-up is more informative than any Nigerian website or news media out there. Would you want to consider going solo, full time? With all the advertising revenue to be earned and freedom to dictate the editorial content, etc, you might be more relevant than you actually realise. Plus I see great entrepreneurial potential there for you. Give it a thought.

Errr, this is not really my write up per se. I just lifetd the news script after reading. Lol. ANything to keep you diasporans informed.

Meanwhile, Kulutempa I have GIST for you, one with a jewish Flair. Plus you need to tell Von when you do talk toher that she should move to Nigeria and start her music career. You should see what they are touting as Nigerian Destiny's Child.

Anyways more news coming up stay tuned
