When Granpa-Uncle Ben told me he was naming his grand daughter after me because I walked in to the house while he was brainstorming on a name, I was excited and apprehensive. Excited at the fact that I was getting a namesake upon whom I can dote exclusive love and attention by virtue of the fact that we share the same name. Apprehenisve because I wasn't sure my new neice would be able to live up to the reputation of a name like Adaure and that of her headstrong and opinionated Big Aunty Adaure. Especially because her parents are conservative. I guess we'ld never know now whether Little Adaure would have been a stubborn teenager, a good writer, a talkative, a restless traveller and everything else that she could have been. In the short time that Little Adaure blessed us with her presence, she was a bundle of joy. She was such a good and well behaved baby that latched on to me whenever I carried her. I think she got the hint that if there was anyone to cozy up to it was me. I will miss my Mini-Me dearly but I know for a fact that heaven is throwing out the red carpet for her. Sweetheart please put in a good word for your Aunty cos I'll need some inside connection with the Big Guy. We all love you and miss you already. Rest in peace till we get to see your beautiful face again.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww the girl is so cutie, l love the fact ur grandparents named her Aduare. She would grow up thinking like you. I have a niece called chizoba like me. She is so pretty and she loves me holding her the best. At first, l thought it was a joke when everyone said she would be named Chizoba. Yeah, now she is chizoba and she thinks like me and loves me the best. Great Aduare...am proud of u. keep it up.
She looks so beautiful. Its sad death has no heart cos it would av known the crying shame to kill the light in Adaure's life.

am so sorry about ur loss. Pray God gives the parents the strength to bear the loss of their child. It isn't an easy thing to lose a child. I could imagine the mother's pain. I have a 3months old baby boy and I know lose a child could be very devasting, it is only God that comfort the parents. Is it the 9 months of carry the pregrancy or the labor pain that she will think of.

The message I wrote yesterday did not save so here it is again. "Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers. Little Addy fell ill suddenly (not sure of what)and passed before she could be taken to the hospital. I am sure she's in good hands though. Thanks again for all your messages. I'll pass it on to her parents."

I'm really sori abt your niece, it's such a shame but, heaven does indeed have another little treasure.
However, the joy of the memories are good enough for now and thank God for at least having those ones.
And i can bet she's connecting with the Big Guy that you surely wld need on yr big life's journey

The thought of losing someone so dear to you can be quite unbearable. Adaure has left her mark on this part of the universe and she will truly be missed. I'm sure she's probably playing hide and seek with my little Angel Temiloluwa who passed on in August 2005.
