Shopping for Toothbrush and 'German-Bread'

I have been meaning to blog about this for a while but just never got around to it until now. I don't know if I am the only one who experiences confusion in the toothbrush/toothpaste and feminine product aisle. Each time I plan to just stop by the drug store or Walmart to pick of these necessities, I always end up confused by the new and improved items and just not knowing what choices to make. You would think this is a very simple task but believe me it is not. The other day I went to buy toothbrush and toothpaste and found myself spending over an hour just trying to figure out which kind of tooth brush and tooth paste to buy. It gave me a headache. You take a minute to just pay attention and you will see what I mean. From the brands, to the fiber texture and quality, to the grip, the curvature, the spin, the rotation, is it electric, battery or solar powered. Arrrrggghhhh!!! It is just a frigging toothbrush. Let me not even start on the toothpaste. I don't even bother anymore, I just pick either crest or colgate 'classic flouride with mint' and get out because if I start reading what one does and what the other does not do, I will never leave the store. Then lets not even talk about 'feminine products' aka 'German Bread'. Now I have learnt to buy in bulk but whenever I go to restock my supply, it is either I don't find the same stuff or that there's added improvement to the product that makes it a dollar or two more expensive. Ya'll ladies know what I am talking about, guys have no clue what we go through at that time of the month. Is it super long with wings, regular maxi with leak guard, ultra thin with individual wrap and deodorized towelette, flexi wings with scented lavender. As in what even happened to the days of 'Have a SIMPLE solution with SIMPLE sanitary paaaaaddd.' Anyways I just felt the need to vent about that. I hope I have not made your next trip to the grocery/drug store a miserable one. Now you will actually be looking for all this. Lol

Kudos to them for bringing these stories and going where NO OTHER network cares to go. CNN has made Africa a part of their regular assignments rundown. It is practically the only network that dedicates staff and maintains Africa bureaus. With the main one being in J'burg, they also have offices in Lagos, Nairobi and Zimbabwe. By the way the LA bureau has quite a nice view of the Hollywood Hills. ;)
Anyways do watch and share your opinion about the show, and yes the toiletry aisle.
Also what do you guys have to say about the Amish School shootings and the Representative Mark Foley controversy. Ok now that last one is going hay wire, now he is gay and was molested by a clergyman. Right...blame the catholic church. This America wonder is getting too much for my eyes. Share your thoughts.
